Journey to Joy, Yellow Path

JOURNEY TO JOY
 Yellow Tram Track

- Joy Krauthammer

I'm so happy.
My vision of joy on Sunday was riding the tram to the mountain top to the Getty and watching the landscape go past while looking over to the distance for miles. Leaving the Getty I missed shooting the far away LA downtown scene visible from the top of the Santa Monica Mountain, but I took one shot of the tracks.
Whether it's going, arriving, or departing, I love the Getty, especially with family and friends.

My joy is also taking the photo, showing it to my Apple teachers, getting their guidance and critique, and altering it-- adding more filter and color, as my artist mother, z'l, did with her B/W photos 50 years ago, and as my beloved grandma, z'l, painted in pointillism from photos shared with her, 30 years ago.
L'Dor V'Dor ~ from generation to generation.
(Three decades ago I loved 'dark room' work; today I love 'light room' work.)
